TAAS Summer School 2024
VISION AND OBJECTIVES 願景和目的
Taipei Adventist American School has been holding Summer Day Camps since the year 2000. The camp was designed to give English Language Learners more opportunity to practice their English in a fun, active, outdoor environment. Our camp does a great job of providing a fun, wholesome, natural experience for children in a green, natural outdoor setting far from the pollution, noise, and grime of the city. Students don’t need to be foreign passport holders.
台北復臨美國學校自2000年以來，已連續24年舉辦夏令營。來參加夏令營者的英語學習者，有更多的機會在有趣、活潑、戶外的環境下練習英語。我們的校區座落於陽明山，學生能夠在遠離污染、噪音和城市的環境下，有截然不同的學習經驗。未持有國外護照之學生亦可參加。
DATES 課程日期
TAAS will be holding the annual Summer School from July 1 – July 26, 2024 (4 weeks). We encourage all kids that want a fun and educational experience in nature with new friends to apply!

AGE LEVELS 報名資格
Children must be at least age six by August, 2024 or in 1st grade to enter our Summer School. Currently, we are only accepting students up to 6th grade.
學生年紀必須符合2024年8月份就讀小學一年級到六年級之學生。
QUALIFIED TEACHERS 合格的教師
Our teaching staff in summer school are current Taipei Adventist American School teachers with extensive experiences. A co-teacher is available at each level to provide timely assistance.
夏令營授課教師皆為現任臺北復臨美國學校教師，為合格教師並有豐富夏令營教學經驗。每班皆有中文協同教師，以協助英文能力較需要幫忙的學生。
REGISTRATION 報名資訊
We begin registration for Summer School from March 18 – May 31 , 2024.
夏令營開始報名日期自2024年3月18日起至2024年5月31日。
SPACE LIMITATIONS 人數限制
Spaces are limited! We take up to 60 students for our summer school. Classes fill up early so please do not wait too long to register. First come, first serve! Registration is due on May 31, 2024. Admission requires complete registration and complete payment.
名額有限！夏令營報名截止日期為2024年5月31日！建議您儘早報名。請家長注意，完成報名＋繳費，才算完成喔！
SCHOOL HOURS 上課時間
Summer School starts at 9 AM and ends at 3:30 PM. The front gate opens at 8:30 AM. In the morning, students can stay and play on the playgrounds with teacher supervision until the bell rings.
夏令營上課時間為上午9:00至下午3:30。學校大門會於早上8:30開啟，早上鈴聲響前，學生可在操場或遊戲區玩耍，老師會在旁監督。
SCHOOL SUPPLIES 學校用品
Each student must bring pencil box, water bottle and couple notebooks.
參加夏令營的學生必須準備鉛筆盒、水壺和筆記本。
FIELD TRIP DAYS 校外教學
On field trip days, every student will wear their summer school T-shirt. They will bring a sack lunch and water bottles. Spending money is optional. Some field trips may involve swimming. If that’s the case, they must bring their swimming suits, goggles, a plastic bag, and a change of clothes. On field trip days, we dismiss at 3:30 pm.
在校外教學日，學生須穿著夏令營T恤、自備午餐及水瓶。家長可自行決定是否讓學生攜帶零用錢。某些校外教學可能會安排游泳活動(會事先通知)，請幫學生準備泳衣、泳鏡、浴巾、塑膠袋和換洗衣物。校外教學日皆為下午三點半放學。
Tuition can be paid by bank wire or ATM transfer. Please email to [email protected] a copy of your payment slip. ( Please remark your kid’s name on your payment slip) This covers the costs for field trips, a summer school T-shirt, handouts, and other school supplies. Tuition fees: $41, 500 NTD.

Every student may bring their own lunch or order school lunch for $3,300 NT. We have hot boxes in each classroom(No microwaves). Every student must bring a water bottle. We will not provide paper cups for students.
學生可自備午餐或訂購學校的素食午餐，收費為新台幣3,300元。學校提供蒸飯箱供學生加熱便當。每個孩子請自備水壺，為了響應環保，學校不提供紙杯給學生使用。
We encourage students to ride our school buses since the traffic jam occur on a frequent basis. If you would need our school bus service, please indicate on the application form and provide the correct home address. Bus fees: $8,000 NTD.
因陽明山時常塞車，我們鼓勵學生父母讓學生搭乘校車。如果您的孩子需要校車服務，請在線上申請表清楚註明家裡地址。校車費用：新台幣8,000 元整。
